Description

Around 60–70% of the population in Africa live in rural areas and are mostly dependent on agriculture. So, increasing agricultural productivity is a powerful way to raise incomes. Indeed, in most industrialisation experiences there was rise in agricultural productivity. We believe in the need to focus on maximising the potential of each community by identifying their strength and weakness. Tchorly is majorly interested in the industrialisation of agriculture and the processing of our agricultural products. We are engaging several partners on delivering result-based projects in the best way that we can.

We will continually engage partners and donors experienced in the production and distribution of agricultural goods and services, in upgrading agricultural technologies and production processes. This will go a long way to expand the opportunities for productive employment. There is the need to identify an overall economic vision and strategy to consistently and efficiently provide supportive infrastructure and services, maintaining a regulatory environment conducive to entrepreneurial activity, and facilitating the acquisition of new technologies and the capabilities to produce new products to access new foreign markets.
