Description

We show people there is a way to build a better future – for themselves and those they care about – and help them create this through support, advice and training. We raise awareness of their situation and ensure long term changes are put in place. We provide a range of services in job search strategies, CVs, cover letters, and applications. We ensure rehearsals for interviews, presentations and career coaching. Our partners are dedicated to providing periodic training and organise events (sometimes online) that encourage our beneficiaries to gravitate towards the appropriate job markets and entrepreneurship. We are constantly engaging potential clients that will assist in job placements and internships for our enrolled students. We take into consideration minimum time requirements as well as set durations for the mentoring relationship, typically lasting between six months and two years depending on the goal of the volunteer mentee.

As an organisation, we have decided on a context-focused approach to partnerships to be able to harness unique attributes to address our project driven objects of our organisation. This will promote a convergence of interests between the business and the society, which will also help in the reconciliation of our socio-economic goals. Also, our existing capabilities are continually juxtaposed to the challenges and opportunities of the environment in which we will be operating. Hence, there was the need to focus on building organisational capacity in this regard, so as to match appropriate finance with strategic business-like advice that will make it a distinctive provider of capital.

 

Dealing with the employment challenge requires up-to-date and accurate data on the labour market which allows rigorous analysis of the impact of economic policies on the labour market. The results of the analyses presented in this report provides useful information that could go a long way in the search for solutions to the challenge of creating jobs in their right quantity and quality in Ghana.
