The word ‘Tchorly’ means Hope for Tomorrow in ‘Ewe’ – A local Dialect in Ghana, West-Africa. We are a charitable organisation whose main goal is the economic development of the less privileged and we have carefully crafted our causes to meet this aim. Our focus is the development of potential among individuals who will in turn develop the respective communities. Our drive is hinged on the revolutionary drive to not only give handouts to the poor or needy but guide them through the different phases of life depending on their status. This is embodiment of our principles.
Our approach to tackling poverty is education. We focus on several programmes that engages individuals through the provision of equal educational opportunities that enlighten our people.
This is the first and basic interventions of our organisation. Essential needs that our less privileged require are constantly and consistently provided to a range of charity homes and identified communities.
This is another leg of economic development for us. We thrive in making sure our people are best placed in the job market after they are educated or vocationally trained.
This organisation was founded with a vision to empower young people with immense potential, but are unfortunately neglected in their communities. Most of whom live and adult without even knowing their potential or what they can do to help themselves. Some community systems are built to limit potential and curtail hope in the lives of many who eventually grow old and die with so much potential.
Two philanthropists started this revolution with seed capital in driving change and ensuring hope in the little and best way they could. Since then, several volunteers of individuals and companies have joined the community to support this drive.
